In their words

“Very professional from start to finish. Barry worked with us to make sure our concerns were addressed and scheduling was flexible. The entire project was done in under 6 hours and the crew cleaned up all the debris and mess. Roof looks great. Very satisfied and would definitely recommend.”

— Brian L., Google review

“Jeff Duschl was very helpful. He explained things as he went, did a thorough inspection of the roof, a minor fix, and even cleaned out a section of my gutter! I have a good list of things to pay attention to and get done in the near future, but didn't feel any pressure to make a commitment on the spot. I'll definitely use Shield and Roofing for items on my to do list.”

— Rachel P., Google review

“Shield Roofing was very good. I had an unusual problem and they fixed it when two other roofers could not. They are also reasonably priced. I highly recommend them.”

Questions

Roofing questions, answered straight

Can you tell if the storm damaged my roof?

We get up on the roof and look for the wind and hail damage that doesn’t show from the ground, then tell you plainly whether it’s worth taking to your insurance company.

How long does a new roof take?

On a typical house the tear-off and the new roof happen in a single day. Bigger or more complicated roofs can run into a second day, and the weather decides the rest.

Will I see what you’re doing up there?

You get drone photos of the roof, and pictures while the job is underway if you can’t be home.

Can you fix a roof another company put on?

Tell us what’s going wrong and we’ll look at it, whoever did the original work.

Do you do gutters and siding?

Gutter and siding repairs, yes — often on the same visit as the roof.

When can I reach you?

Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, at (412) 550-0376. Text a photo any time and we’ll get back to you when the office opens.
